Duh. More humans consuming more energy to produce more goods so more humans can consume. Lets all make room for more or get by with less.
BTW the Earth will survive this. It is an incredibly dynamic orb that has seen just this nuance many times in the past with huge variations in sea levels. Its just us recent parasites that have to scurry around avoiding onlapping tides that forget the past and build in its past.
